Role: Sales Coordinator - Hampton Inn and Suites Chicago Medical District UIC
Love fast-paced environments, connecting with people, and keeping things running smoothly? Join our Sales team at the Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago Medical District! You’ll turn inquiries into confirmed bookings, coordinate group details from start to finish, and keep our sales office organized and on track — all while making every guest feel expected and cared for. We move quickly, collaborate closely, and take pride in doing things the right way.
What You’ll Do:
- Turn leads into confirmed bookings and manage group details
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and rooming lists with accuracy
- Coordinate closely with Front Desk & Operations to ensure seamless execution
- Keep sales systems organized and up to date
- Track follow ups, deadlines, and decision date to keep business moving
- Support site visits and client relationship building
- Assist the Director of Sales in managing priorities and supporting revenue growth initiatives
- Assist the team during high-demand periods
Who You Are:
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Excellent written and verbal communicator
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
- Clear communicator who follows through
- Problem solver with a “get it done” attitude
- Hospitality or customer service experience a plus
- Positive, team oriented, and ready to contribute.
