About this role

As the AMER Sales Operations Manager supporting Google, you will collaborate with AMER go-to-market team members and Sales counterparts to analyze sales performance, socialize trends, quantify risks & opportunities and support our overall monthly sales forecasting business processes. Moreover, you will work on helping the team to improve forecast accuracy and achieve business targets by leveraging automated reporting & ad-hoc analysis, root cause investigations and facilitating cross-functional partner discussions, all of which require varying levels of stakeholder engagement. 

Responsibilities

  • Support internal business planning and go-to-market activities for Pixel Mobile Products 
  • Manage weekly business processes including analyzing sales results, key sales activities and promotions, new-product-introduction launches and end-of-life activities 
  • Track key performance metrics: sell-out units, sell-in units, sell-in gross revenue and partner on-hand units
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including category managers, demand planning, supply planning, and finance 
  • Perform large scale data analysis and modeling to identify trends and quantify risks and opportunities
  • Provide accurate ad hoc reporting and analyses to solve problems at scale 

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Forecasting, Sales Strategy, Finance, Consulting or related field 
  • Experience with consumer hardware or electronics industry preferred, OEM or 3rd party
  • Strong business acumen, analytical, data manipulation and reporting skillset
  • Distinctive structuring skills, with ability to synthesize data into useful formats and bring actionable insights through effective communication
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills with exceptional follow up/follow through, with extreme attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines in a high paced and dynamic environment
  • Thrives in a dynamic team environment with natural ability to build strong relationships, maintain a positive attitude and be self-motivated
  • Fluency with Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Docs 
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
