Description and Requirements

The Sales Operations Specialist role supports Lenovo's Corporate Segment within the PC Group by providing operational support, business insights, and analytical expertise that help drive sales execution and business performance. Working closely with Sales Leaders, Business Management, and cross-functional teams, this role drives operational execution and informed decision-making through data analysis and reporting.


This position is ideal for driving expertise in sales operations, sales strategy, seller cadencing, business management, and forecasting. The analyst will support key operational rhythms, contribute to business initiatives, and help improve processes that enable the Corporate sales organization to achieve its business objectives.


Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Corporate sales organization through seller cadence management, data analysis, reporting, and operational activities that drive business execution and decision-making.

  • Develop recurring reports, dashboards, and business insights to monitor sales performance, pipeline health, forecast trends, and key operational metrics.

  • Partner with Sales Leaders and Business Management to identify opportunities, analyze business performance, and support quarterly execution priorities.

  • Assist in preparing presentations and executive-ready materials that communicate business performance, key insights, risks, and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Sales, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and other Sales Operations teams to support planning and execution.

  • Support operational projects focused on improving business processes, reporting capabilities, and sales productivity.

  • Participate in testing, validation, and rollout of new tools, dashboards, and process enhancements that support the Corporate sales organization.

  • Prepare Sales quota targets per business needs and assist in account maintenance.

  • Perform ad hoc analysis and operational support to address evolving business needs while continuously identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and execution.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Business Analytics, Sales, Finance, Consulting, or a related analytical role (internship experience may be considered).



Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable business insights.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar is preferred.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Strong interest in Sales Operations, business strategy, and Go-to-Market execution.



This position requires candidates to be based near our headquarters in Morrisville, NC and adhere to a 3:2 hybrid work schedule. This means three days on-site for in-person collaboration and two days remote each week, ensuring flexibility while maintaining strong team engagement.
