As a Fluke Premium Care (FPC) Sales Specialist you will work on opportunities from beginning to close to sell Premium Care Support renewals for the Fluke Networks and Calibration products

Essential Functions:

  • Working multiple territories to close business on renewal opportunities for our Premium Care customers from initial contact, to quoting, to close of the deal 
  • You will meet and exceed quota based on renewal Premium Care sales in your assigned territory and work in tandem with outside sales teams to close the business
  • Demonstrate learning agility and awareness around product changes, Premium Care benefits and cost benefit analysis of Premium Care Support program to both customers and distributor partners
  • Act as a point of contact for customers and distributors for Premium Care account information. 
  • Communicate feedback to Marketing and Sales on Premium Care renewal rate and loss reasons in order to improve renewal rates. 
  • Support and collaborate with other FPC members on overlapping territories to provide maximum coverage and customer contact with minimal redundancy of efforts
  • Work with field sales team to promote and sell Premium Care products to customers and promote a solid understanding of products, industry, and customers. 
  • Demonstrate adaptability when introduced to new strategies, concepts, systems and processes. 
  • Comfort and desire to work in a collaborative office environment. 
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and writing skills are required to interact with customers, other employees and management; requires the ability to anticipate and solve problems 
  • Ability to interact with a variety of people at all levels both internally and externally, especially in building ongoing customer relationships
  • Ability to learn complex research and quoting skills in both Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Oracle and Excel
  • Ability to communicate technical information to facilitate sales opportunities with customers 
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to propose mutually beneficial solutions to customers 
  • Complex problem solving skills 
  • Ability to work through procurement processes to secure Purchase Orders both direct and through a variety of distributors and resellers
  • Monthly forecasting to product lines and quota plans
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with reasonable supervision 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Previous experience with Saleforce.com, MS Dynamics, or comparable CRM desired.
  • Demonstrate both personal integrity and the ability to exercise good judgment 
  • Previous experience selling computer or related electronic products or services
  • BS degree in communications, marketing, or technical field, and 2-4 years related outbound sales experience with technical products desired.
