About this role

As a Sales Support Team member, you will play a vital role in maintaining our warehouse's organization and cleanliness, ensuring a well-maintained inventory of product samples. Your responsibilities will also include the timely pickup and delivery of products, equipment, and supplies to various locations, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. This role is perfect for an individual who is detail-oriented, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the overall coordinating of major shows, vendor fairs, etc
    1. Request and confirm participation of scheduled event, by client
    2. Coordinate and secure product allowances, POS & applicable coupons
    3. Coordinate and order the needed samples and equipment
    4. Confirm theme support, budget and support accordingly
    5. Coordinate all food show related costs for submission to finance department
  • Appropriate business attire ie.: shoes, shirts, pants, etc.
  • Maintain and update distributor stocking guides (matrices)
  • Process all distributor marketing requests (marketing plans, individual marketing events), complete
    and submit distributor required documentation to distributor, obtain all client approvals for all events
    and marketing plans and forward to TM for processing
  • Maintain company calendars
  • Completion of distributor new item forms
  • Support sales with flyers, and other marketing administration
  • Support sales in planning and preparing for distributor meetings
  • Support distributor leads and local BDM’s as needed
  • Scheduling of meeting rooms and vehicles
  • Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders
    to sample orders, letting market know when new product comes in
  • Rotate product samples, discard any products that may be going out of code
  • Reading customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be
    moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped
  • Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
  • Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to the predetermined
    sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code
  • Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic
  • Assembling customer or sales orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or relocating
    order to a holding area or shipping department
  • Labeling materials with identifying information using appropriate method
  • Opening crates, boxes and other containers
  • Maintaining and counting physical inventory
  • Clean and store all equipment returning from food shows and sales events
  • Complete scheduled deliveries and pick‐ups
  • Keep all equipment in working condition, report damaged goods to Director, Brand Development
  • Pick‐up and deliver warehouse orders to specified locations according to prescribed delivery
    schedules. Exercise great care in stacking, handling, and transporting so as to prevent damage or
    errors.
  • Check all deliveries against invoices.
  • All other requests as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or sales support role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills, with an eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, with the ability to operate a company vehicle.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, with a commitment to health and safety practices.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed to support the team.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, with a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

The employee will frequently use office equipment, computers and desk phones. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.


Temperature of a Refrigerator can range from 36 to 46 degrees Fahrenheit, and a Freezer can range from ‐20 to ‐10 degrees Fahrenheit.
