Sales Tax analyst
Position Description:
- Prepare Sales and Use Tax returns for corporate and subsidiaries.
- Research and apply sales and use tax laws.
- Prepare Business Licenses for corporate and subsidiaries.
- Assist supervisors with audits and any other special projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required and 3+ years relevant tax experience.
- Superior listener with strong interpersonal skills necessary to be active and effective leader.
- Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
- Comfortable in a deadline-driven and rapidly evolving environment.
- Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changes in business needs and respond quickly.
- Analytical and research abilities with effective communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and data management skills a must.
- Ability to build relationship at all levels of the organization.
- Must be detail oriented and have good organizational skills.
- Some evening hours will be required during busy seasons.
- Strong interpersonal and professional phone communication skills
- Self-starter who can work autonomously but wants to be a high-impact team.
