Scientist I

Shift: Monday - Friday 12pm - 9pm

The Scientist I executes scientific laboratory activities across one or more disciplines to support the development, evaluation, and improvement of company products and technologies. Contributes reliable data, supports quality and compliance expectations, and collaborates with technical partners to enable evidence-based decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine laboratory studies across applicable scientific disciplines following established protocols and regulatory expectations.
• Analyze, document, and organize data to support product development, verification/validation, and other technical studies.
• Maintain laboratory readiness, including preparation of test materials, upkeep of equipment, and adherence to safety and quality requirements.
• Support investigations, test method activities, and equipment qualification in alignment with quality system requirements
• Apply scientific techniques and problem‑solving skills to address defined challenges within established guidelines.
• Support continuous improvement of laboratory processes and operational efficiencies.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, such as Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
• Some relevant laboratory experience or equivalent academic exposure.

• Ability to apply scientific principles, laboratory techniques, and analytical methods with consistency and accuracy.
• Strong adherence to laboratory safety, quality practices, and documentation standards.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within cross‑functional environments.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and critical‑thinking capabilities appropriate for defined scopes of work.
• Ability to independently organize tasks and manage workload within established priorities.
• Domestic travel up to 10% as required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed for laboratory operations.
