SCM Compliance Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY

This position is in Supply Chain Management under the Shared Services group. The role is responsible for supporting Supply Chain Management governance, compliance, and risk monitoring activities, while also leading and/or coordinating project-based initiatives that strengthen governance, risk management, process consistency, and operational effectiveness across the SCM organization.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education:

o Bachelor’s Degree (Required)

o Project management or other certifications are a plus

 

Experience:

o Experience coordinating or leading cross-functional projects, governance/compliance initiatives, risk-related workstreams, or process improvement efforts desired

o Experience in project management, process management, and change management across stakeholders desired

o Experience developing project plans, tracking deliverables, coordinating stakeholder input, and preparing status updates and leadership-ready summaries is desired

o Experience with systems such as Maximo, Oracle, Smart by GEP, Cool Compliance and Documentum is desired

o Knowledge of electronic sourcing and supplier management systems and processes is a plus

 

Knowledge & Skills:

o Knowledge of governance, risk, and controls structure is desired

o Ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives, facilitate working sessions, and drive follow-up actions to completion

o Ability to organize work into clear deliverables, timelines, owners, and status updates

o Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills to support governance, compliance, risk, and project-based initiatives

o Ability to balance recurring compliance responsibilities with special projects, process improvements, and business-driven initiatives

o Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information is required

o Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 suite of productivity tools is required

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage policies, guidelines, and procedures; coordinate development of new procedures, guidelines, tools, or governance materials as needed

· Coordinate governance, compliance, risk, and process improvement projects across SCM, including development of project plans, deliverables, status updates, stakeholder input, and implementation support

· Coordinate controls monitoring/testing processes and remediation for the SCM organization and provide summary reporting to management

· Coordinate SCM responses to internal control, external audit, regulatory, benchmarking, and other business information requests for consistency and completeness

· Drive cross-functional governance, compliance, and risk initiatives through facilitation, stakeholder coordination, issue tracking, and representation on enterprise or SCM project teams

· Coordinate organization compliance updates and other governance/risk reporting or communications

· Lead or support special projects, emerging initiatives, and ad hoc assignments related to SCM governance, compliance, and risk

· Develop, coordinate, and facilitate compliance, governance, risk, or process-related training
