Position: Secretary/Accountant e (S579)

Location:  Winfield Elementary School

Classification:  E, F or F1

Evaluated by:  Principal/Assistant Principal

Salary Range: Salary Range: Service_Salary_Schedule_2024_Annual.pdf (core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com) based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.

Job Description:   The School Secretary/Accountant works cooperatively with the principal, assistant principal and other school staff to ensure that correspondence, reports, records, files and other activities assigned to the Secretary/Accountant are addressed in an efficient and effective manner.

Qualifications: Holds a high school diploma or GED.

                         Holds “Secretary” and “Accountant” classifications.

                        Has knowledge and skills necessary to operate a personal computer.

Length of Employment: 210 days

Daily Schedule:  Currently – 7:30 am - 3:30 pm

Responsibilities:   The School Secretary/Accountant shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the job description.  

Effective Employment Date: August 10, 2026
