As a Security Guard Patrol Observation in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the property perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Observe and report unusual activity, facility hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
