Security Officer Area Patrol

As a Security Officer Area Patrolin Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier retail location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers and staff. In this unarmed patrol role, you will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and dependable teamwork while bringing integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to observe activity, assist with crowd flow, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and following post orders for incident documentation and follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
