As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Inspector in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This driving post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, documenting incidents, observations, and patrol activity in required reports.
- Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and carry out duties in compliance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
