Security Officer - Armed Position - Overnight Shift

As a Security Officer - Armed Position - Overnight Shift in Trenton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and when appropriate, emergency response support.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or receiving areas while verifying credentials, logging visitor activity, and supporting traffic flow at the location.
• Support asset protection and loss prevention efforts by observing site operations, reporting policy violations, and communicating with local leadership regarding security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• A minimum of 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
