About this role

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of guests and fellow employees.

  • Provide directions, escorts, and assistance to guests as needed.

  • Assist civil and law enforcement authorities, including providing testimony in court or administrative hearings.

  • Perform chip fills, jackpot verifications, and money escorts.

  • Provide first aid and CPR when necessary.

  • Patrol all areas of the property to identify safety hazards and security concerns.

  • Interview, investigate, and document incidents in accordance with company policy.

  • Complete detailed lost and found reports and incident descriptions.

  • Enforce all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain attendance standards and adhere to departmental and company guidelines.

Responsibilities

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in temperatures ranging from 10°F to 115°F.

  • Ability to physically restrain individuals when necessary.

  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in crisis or stressful situations.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, and maneuver quickly on various surfaces.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs.

  • Ability to tolerate secondhand smoke 

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Two years of experience in a role with direct guest contact required.

  • Preferred: two years of police, military, or casino security experience.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of basic computer programs.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Virginia Gaming License.

  • Must be able to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.

  • Must present a wellgroomed, professional appearance.

  • Ability to prepare effective written reports.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required for operating company vehicles.
