As a Security Officer - Dedicated Corporate Driving Role in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete mobile rounds, support access-related activities, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This role offers the chance to deliver outstanding customer service, clear communication, and dependable teamwork while bringing integrity, agility, and reliability to every shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues through proper communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe site activity, and assist with visitor and contractor interactions in accordance with property rules and post instructions.
- Support daily property operations by reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or policy violations, and by assisting with security-related inquiries from tenants, guests, and staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
