As a Security Officer Enhanced Mobile in Wellington, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, access points, amenities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, observe surroundings, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues according to site protocols.
- Support access control and visitor-related procedures, provide directions and assistance as needed, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and/or property staff regarding security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
