Security Officer - Entry Control Point

As a Security Officer - Entry Control Point in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and help to deter security-related incidents. In this active role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach and acting with integrity in a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $17.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, production areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by checking credentials, directing visitors and deliveries, and/or following established entry and exit procedures.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site personnel regarding security-related concerns, observing workplace conditions, and/or assisting with incident response and post orders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
