Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, respond to alarms as needed, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common spaces, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or policy violations while reporting concerns according to post instructions.
• Support a professional shopping environment by providing directions, answering questions, and addressing security-related concerns from customers and/or employees in a courteous manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
