As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Driver in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, vendors, and visitors at a retail grocery location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and security-related concerns to site management and appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain required documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and activity records, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
