As a Healthcare Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a hospital location, helping to support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This driving post includes routine patrols, a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and responsive customer service. Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control, visitor screening, and reporting unusual activity.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor assigned areas for policy compliance, support staff and/or visitors with directions or assistance, and document incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to site guidelines.
• Work in a professional manner with healthcare personnel, patients, and/or the public while helping to address situations involving lost property, access requests, and other routine security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to provide proof of required vaccinations for a hospital environment.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
