As a Security Officer Hospital Incident Response in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting of security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate hospital personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and compliance with facility entry procedures while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence.
• Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be willing to receive required vaccinations for hospital assignments.
• Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
