Security Officer Patrol Response Duty

As a Security Officer Patrol Response Duty in Passaic, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a premier financial institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor visitor, employee, and vendor activity in assigned areas, assist with access control procedures, and/or report maintenance, life emergency, or policy-related concerns to site leadership.
• Support Allied Universal and location protocols by maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally with staff and guests, and/or completing required reports related to daily activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
