As a Security Officer Patrol with Active Clearance in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with a caring, agile, and reliable approach, working as part of a team that values integrity and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with property management and/or public responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, entrances, and exits within the location, verifying authorized entry procedures and addressing questions or concerns from occupants and guests in a professional manner.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by completing reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and following Allied Universal protocols for incident response and/or communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2+ years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
