As a Security Officer Reception Security in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will provide a welcoming presence, manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarms and visitor activity, and support a professional environment through exceptional customer service and communication. You will represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach while putting people first, collaborating with the team, and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and employees at a financial institution location by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify access authorization, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site requirements.
- Monitor building access, receive and route calls, and communicate visitor, delivery, and service-provider arrivals to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and promptly report unusual conditions, access concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
