As a Security Officer Roving Site Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a hotel and resort environment.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying the appropriate personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, guest areas, corridors, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in accordance with post instructions.
- Support hotel operations by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with security-related requests while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
