As a Security Officer Roving Site Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a hotel and resort environment.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying the appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, guest areas, corridors, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and document security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations in accordance with post instructions.
• Support hotel operations by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with security-related requests while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
