GENERAL PURPOSE: 
The Fixtures Database Senior Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of software tools utilized by the Store Operations Fixtures Planning and Purchasing teams to support the execution of New Store, Remodels, Special Projects, and other fixture projects across Store Operations. This associate will serve as a technical expert, partnering with managers to plan and execute Fixture Purchasing and Planning tool rollouts and enhancements. Responsibilities include developing and implementing new tools as business needs evolve, improving and optimizing existing applications and processes, and maintaining/administering the server, database infrastructure and the tools that support the Fixtures program. This role will leverage SQL, C#, and VBA coding to build scalable solutions, streamline workflows, and ensure data integrity and usability across all tools, both established and newly introduced.

The base salary range for this role is $81,000 – $121,800. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Data and Systems Management
•    Serve as the primary administrator of the fixtures database and server, maintaining uptime, performance, and system reliability. Troubleshoot system issues (access, connectivity, speed, functionality), conduct routine backups, and ensure overall data integrity. 
•    Manage the accuracy of fixture data within PeopleSoft, including fixture lists, descriptions, and part numbers; remove obsolete records and maintain a clean, current dataset. 
•    Maintain the master parts list, incorporating updates from testing and prototype changes, and communicate updates to business partners in a timely manner. 
•    Serve as a subject matter expert on fixtures data across vendors and categories; implement best practices in database structuring and organization to improve data quality. 
•    Own documentation of fixture data processes and ensure consistency in data governance practices.
Inventory Tools & Application Ownership
•    Serve as the product owner and primary developer for the Inventory Management System, a tool designed to manage and track fixture inventory, support allocation planning, and automate the creation of Purchase Orders for store-facing projects across Store Operations. 
•    Be a technical expert in the system’s functionality, data structure, and integrations; act as the primary point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external vendors. Partner with third-party providers to support system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure ongoing system performance, scalability, and reliability. 
•    Serve as product owner and lead developer for the Store Ops Purchasing Access Menu (Microsoft Access/VBA), partnering with Managers and Directors to maintain, support, and evolve the tool; act as the technical SME (VBA/SQL) while driving updates through structured processes (process mapping, end-user feedback, technical reviews, and UAT). 
•    Lead analysis of the use of new and existing technology to meet current and future business needs; investigate new tools, applications, and technologies to solve business problems.
Project & Program Management
•    Create and manage detailed project plans for system enhancements and tool rollouts, aligning timelines and deliverables with leadership expectations. 
•    Ensure successful execution of test plans, communication plans, training plans, change management strategies, and ongoing support models. 
•    Manage projects end-to-end, including workplan development, cross-functional coordination, and presentation of findings and recommendations.
Operational Support & Process Improvement
•    Manage day-to-day application support activities for the Fixtures team, including intake, prioritization, and resolution of issues and requests.
•    Proactively identify and communicate risks related to fixture inventory or data, and partner with stakeholders to mitigate issues.
Data & Reporting Enablement
•    Support the Inventory Data Analyst by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and availability of inventory and purchasing data across systems. 
•    Enable reporting and analytics through data validation, issue resolution, and process improvements, ensuring reliable outputs for business insights.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
•    Minimum of 3 years of experience building and delivering applications and automation workflows within the Microsoft suite, utilizing programming languages including VBA, SQL, and Python (C# experience preferred).
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, information systems, or a related technical discipline. 
•    3 to 5 years of server support and database administrator experience (MS-SQL), with a strong understanding of relational database structures and best practices. 
•    Technical orientation balanced by project management discipline. Able to work effectively with other programmers, analysts, consultants, and non-technical business partners. 
•    Experience with Microsoft office applications including Excel and Powerpoint at a high level of proficiency. 
•    Demonstrated track record managing technical application projects. 
•    Able to articulate issues, build consensus around recommendations, define next steps, and develop realistic timelines. 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quantify risks vs. benefits, measure impact, and demonstrate change. 
•    Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization. 
•    Outstanding work ethic, humility, integrity, and a display of urgency to resolve issues accurately and efficiently. 
•    Highly organized and detail oriented.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:
Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer. 
Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc. 
Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.  
Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work. #LI-Hybrid
