The B2B Brand & Demand Strategy team is responsible for producing and informing compelling, insight-driven marketing that cohesively showcases the holistic value of American Express to business customers. The Senior Analyst, Social Execution & Channel Management, will support the execution, optimization, and day-to-day management of American Express Business social channels. This role is responsible for executing social-first content strategies, managing channel performance, and leveraging data-driven insights to strengthen audience engagement and support enterprise marketing priorities. The ideal candidate is a collaborative marketer with a strong understanding of social media who can translate business priorities into compelling social content, optimize channel performance through analytics, and contribute to the continued evolution of the Amex Business social presence.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day management of Amex Business organic social channels, including publishing, feed curation, content pacing, and community management to support enterprise marketing priorities.
  • Execute social-first content and campaign strategies across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms that support key business initiatives and product launches.
  • Partner with Product, Brand, Go to Market, Enterprise Social, and agency partners to support the execution of product launches, campaigns, and heat moments through organic social.
  • Collaborate with agency partners across content development, creative execution, community management, and reporting to ensure high-quality execution and continuous optimization.
  • Lead the end-to-end social content approval process by coordinating cross-functional reviews, managing approval workflows, and ensuring content is published efficiently while meeting governance requirements and business timelines
  • Monitor channel performance, develop recurring reporting, and translate performance insights into actionable content and channel recommendations that improve audience engagement and support ongoing optimization.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize content strategy based on audience behavior, platform best practices, competitive activity, and emerging social trends.
  • Support ongoing social planning and intake processes by maintaining visibility into upcoming business priorities and ensuring timely execution across the editorial calendar.
  • Ensure all social content complies with brand standards, compliance requirements, and reputational risk guidelines prior to publication.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in social media, digital marketing, content strategy, or related marketing fields. 
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, including experience supporting brand social channels and knowledge of platform best practices.
  • Experience developing social content and supporting integrated marketing campaigns for B2B, small business, or enterprise audiences preferred. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data, identify actionable insights, and translate learnings into recommendations that improve content and channel performance.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative marketer with strong relationship-building skills and experience working across cross-functional teams and agency partners. 
  • Curious and proactive with an interest in emerging social trends, audience behaviors, and evolving platform capabilities.
