About this role
The Stamping Tooling and Equipment Senior Buyer position is part of the Global Indirect Purchasing department. The Stamping commodities include dies, plant tooling and equipment for the Stamping Plants. The Senior Buyer will manage all the commercial aspects of the equipment purchases and strategically collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and the Stamping Plants at Stellantis to define commodity strategies and source programs.
The successful candidate will develop and present materials and data to all levels of senior management up to and including Senior Vice Presidents. The candidate will track program changes to ensure overall spend is within budgeted approval levels. They will manage all aspects of the supplier relationship, including contract maintenance, achievement of annual cost savings targets, and development of supplier/commodity strategies. This role will also support the various process and procedures of the Indirect Purchasing department, while driving improvements to the organization and improving efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to multi-task; have excellent time management skills and the ability to set priorities independently. This position requires strong leadership, ability to work at a fast pace, and effectively communicate to upper management.

Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of commercial or technical business experience (for example purchasing, finance, logistics, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing etc. )
- Self-motivated / sense of ownership *Strong communication and customer focus
- Must be organized and possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt
- Strong command of both oral and written English language
- Strong use of MS Office suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- International/Global experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Purchasing experience
- Manufacturing Engineering experience
