Responsibilities
This is a limited tenure position with an assignment through March 31, 2028.
We are seeking a hands-on change management and communications practitioner to support a high-visibility organizational initiative. This role requires equal strength in Prosci-based change strategy, measurement, executive counsel, and polished communications execution.
The successful candidate will apply the Prosci methodology and ADKAR model to assess change impacts, identify and address barriers to adoption, engage sponsors and people leaders, and build an integrated change management and communications plan that drives measurable adoption, utilization, and proficiency.
This is not a role focused solely on producing communications. You will establish and manage the infrastructure behind them—including stakeholder and impact assessments, audience segmentation, sponsor and people leader plans, an integrated communications calendar and tracker, feedback loops, resistance and reinforcement strategies, and meaningful measures of effectiveness.
You will also personally create high-quality deliverables, including executive presentations, leader talking points, infographics, videos, newsletters, intranet content, digital campaigns, and other written and visual communications. You should be equally comfortable advising senior leaders, translating ambiguity into an actionable strategy, managing a detailed delivery plan, and creating the final product yourself.
You may be a strong fit if you:
- Have substantial experience applying Prosci methodology and ADKAR to complex, enterprise-level change
- Can define how adoption, utilization, proficiency, readiness, and change-management effectiveness will be measured
- Build practical, integrated change and communications plans with clear audiences, owners, dates, dependencies, approvals, and success measures
- Diagnose audience needs and resistance rather than defaulting immediately to communication tactics
- Create exceptional written, visual, executive, and digital deliverables without relying entirely on outside creative resources
- Influence senior sponsors and project leaders with sound judgment, diplomacy, and evidence
- Quickly develop subject-matter fluency in complex or unfamiliar topics
- Use data, feedback, and changing conditions to refine the strategy
- Work effectively in a fast-moving environment with evolving information and high visibility
- Leave behind sustainable plans, tools, governance, and documentation at the conclusion of a limited-tenure assignment
Please submit portfolio examples that you personally created that demonstrate both strategic thinking and execution. We are particularly interested in seeing:
- A change strategy, stakeholder plan, impact assessment, or integrated communications plan
- A communications calendar or tracker showing how work was managed
- A polished visual, digital, executive, or written deliverable
- A brief explanation of your personal contribution and the measurable results of the work
