Responsibilities

Drive Business Transformation & AI-Enabled Automation

  • Lead end-to-end process modernization initiatives using automation, AI, analytics, and intelligent workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. 
  • Identify opportunities to eliminate manual effort, simplify processes, and accelerate business outcomes through technology adoption and data-driven decision making.
  • Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to design future-state solutions that improve user experience and operational effectiveness.
  • Champion continuous improvement principles and foster a culture of innovation and operational excellence.

Deliver Customer-Obsessed Solutions

  • Act as the voice of the customer by deeply understanding stakeholder needs and designing solutions that simplify experiences and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Build scalable tools, systems, and operating models that enable faster decision-making and increase organizational agility.
  • Measure success through customer adoption, operational efficiency gains, cycle-time reduction, and business impact.

Lead Program Execution & Cross-Functional Delivery

  • Drive complex cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation while balancing speed, quality, compliance, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop roadmaps, success metrics, and implementation plans to ensure timely delivery of strategic priorities.
  • Influence partners across Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Tax, Trade, Operations, and Accounting to align on outcomes and remove execution barriers.
  • Use data and insights to proactively identify risks, drive accountability, and accelerate decision making.

Ensure Strong Financial & Operational Governance

  • Oversee accounting and operational processes in accordance with Microsoft policies, US GAAP, SOX requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Establish and manage processes supporting equipment acquisitions, sales, billing, tax invoicing, rebates, and partner settlements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of financial transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance activities.
  • Monitor and resolve operational issues, billing disputes, receivables aging, and process exceptions.
  • Deliver actionable reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics to improve operational effectiveness and inform leadership decisions.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
  • 1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.
  • 1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional programs and deliver results in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. 
  • Excellent customer and stakeholder focus with a track record of designing solutions that improve business outcomes, user experience, and speed of execution.
  • Experience leading enterprise systems transformation, business architecture, ERP implementations, or platform modernization initiatives.
  • Proficient systems-thinking capabilities, including process design, systems integration, data architecture, and end-to-end operating model simplification.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across organizations, build alignment, and drive change without direct authority.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and executive storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex business and technical challenges into actionable solutions.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation, analytics, and digital technologies to accelerate decision-making, enhance productivity, and deliver measurable business value. 


Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year.
