PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

To inspect, in accordance with Company safety rules and instructions, the overhead distribution, transmission and padmount equipment for underground distribution systems and make recommendations in connection; to determine the extent of maintenance work to be done consistent with Company policy; to report promptly any conditions that constitute a hazard to employees or to the public; to perform related duties as assigned.

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Must have Valid Driver's License.
• Experience in first class line work; knowledge of materials and construction standards and specifications; thorough knowledge of company maintenance policies and conditions governing maintenance of company owned facilities and joint facilities.
• Ability to lead, expedite, and coordinate the work of others.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Considerable experience in line work, knowledge of material and construction standards and specs is strongly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures of overhead and underground facilities is strongly preferred.
