We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical associate to join the Competitive Intelligence team. You could help innovate and drive GEICO’s profitable growth. As a Sr. Manager, Competitive Intelligence, you will lead efforts to monitor, analyze, and provide recommendations based on top competitor strategies and qualitative research.
Other responsibilities include building understanding of key competitor success metrics, benchmarking the competition and industry against GEICO, and gaining a strong understanding of the P&C insurance industry.
The ideal candidate must display analytical skills have a proven track record of successfully driving results and projects, strong organization and time-management skills, present strategic solutions to the leadership team, and demonstrate an ability to make change happen.
Role description of a Competitive Intelligence Leader:
Develop and execute competitive intelligence strategy aligned with business objectives
Identify and prioritize key competitors, market trends and emerging threads
Foster cross-functional collaboration with business units, marketing and product development
Conduct market research and analysis to inform business decisions
Monitor competitor activity, product offerings, and pricing strategies
Analyze industry trends, regulatory changes and market shifts
Develop and maintain comprehensive competitor profiles
Assess competitor strengths, weaknesses and market positioning
Identify gaps and opportunities for competitive advantage
Provide actionable insights to inform product development, pricing and marketing strategies
Develop and maintain competitive landscape reports and dashboards
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
Core skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability to think strategically and tactically
Industry knowledge and experience in insurance
Proficiency in CI tools and software
Location: Chicago, Bethesda, and NYC with 3-day in office requirement
Annual Salary
$130,175.00 - $212,175.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
