This job contributes to Starbucks success by leading a team responsible for ensuring managing supplier relationships and driving operational excellence across our network, resulting in exceptional, supplier, customer and partner experience. This role will drive cross-functional strategic alignment, lead supplier performance management including key performance indicators, goals, budgeting, prioritization, initiative pipeline, and resource allocation. As a senior manager of supplier performance, you will…

  • Model leadership behaviors that are grounded in Starbucks Mission and Values. 
  • Drive the engagement, development and performance of all members of their team. 
  • Create and execute short and long-term global supplier development strategies and execution including goals, budget, initiatives, and resource allocation. 
  • Lead a team to establish and manage supplier relationships end-to-end including supplier discovery, selection, performance, new & existing contract negotiations and renewals, managing value levers and ensuring high performance and exceptional. 
  • Drive strategic alignment across internal business unit stakeholders. 
  • Negotiates for human, financial and other resources, liaises with external and internal suppliers and partners and stakeholders on prioritization of projects and programs and provides professional guidance and leadership to project teams to realize the strategic business vision or desired result. 
  • Collaborate and establishes partnerships with support and business units to continuously innovate and redesign programs to better serve our customers and partners. 
  • Create continuous feedback loops with internal customers and business partners to ensure alignment. 
  • Drive commercial performance, strategic partnership management, risk oversight and overall supplier performance
  • Lead supplier score carding, KPI development and reviews, strategy and execution of continuous improvement across cost, quality and deliver objectives 
  • Lead innovation pipeline develop and execution with key suppliers 
  • Manage financial, operational and supply chain risk and continuity planning 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on risk management and resiliency plans
