About the job

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

This high-impact leadership role requires an experienced strategy leader to drive the long-term strategy and business model for Google’s consumer AI subscriptions (Plus, Pro, Ultra) and core Google One storage.

As a member of the Google One leadership team, you will inform our product and go-to-market approach. You will develop holistic business cases spanning pricing, bundling, and go-to-market strategies; delivering compelling executive presentations; and partnering cross-functionally to translate plans into action.

This is a critical, high-visibility role working closely with cross-functional teams and their leadership (across product, engineering, strategy, finance, partnerships, design/UX, operations, and marketing). Success requires exceptional strategic and analytical skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence peers in a highly ambiguous, fast-growing space.

Google One (G1) is Google's membership for personal cloud storage and Google's cutting-edge AI features. G1 is one of Google's fastest growing subscriptions, with over 150 million subscribers. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-impact team, shaping the future of our subscriber experiences, premium features and business growth initiatives.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

  • Own the requisite “dot connecting” to take new initiatives from 0→1 or from 1→10 across user, product, financial, and cross-Google considerations.
  • Own SKU strategy, pricing roadmap, and go-to-market operations across core storage, AI, and bundles.
