Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of experience in social media marketing.
  • 3 years of people management or leading cross-functional agencies/teams.
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams to manage multi-platform editorial calendars (specifically across YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Experience utilizing social analytics platforms, listening infrastructure, and publishing suites (e.g., Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Tubular, YouTube Studio).
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder groups and presenting regularly to director-level or executive leadership.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
  • Experience with live event social, email marketing and other owned/earned/paid B2B social channels.
  • Experience in a client side or agency role, particularly for a large company.
  • Experience in organic and paid social on LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Experience with B2B influencer and creator strategies.

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

US: $171000 - $248000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Lead a social marketing vision for YouTube Ads by establishing strategic frameworks and channel playbooks. Unlock our paid, owned, and earned flywheel, driving measurable growth across the B2B funnel, from acquiring followers to generate high quality leads.
  • Architect and scale a robust social listening engine. Monitor brand sentiment and product feedback, by converting raw data into actionable initiatives for our editorial, creator, and influencer programs.
  • Standardize impact measurement and translate complex social metrics into clear business insights, providing weekly and monthly performance updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Direct the evaluation of all organic and paid social campaigns. Establish rigorous benchmarking criteria to ensure investments directly support marketing KPIs.
  • Align strategically with creative heads to oversee content integration, steering the direction of editorial calendars across YouTube, LinkedIn, and platforms.
