Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging).
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 1 year of experience with state-of-the-art GenAI techniques (e.g., LLMs, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models) or with GenAI-related concepts (language modeling, computer vision).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience in Security domains.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to the research, design, development, and operational excellence of the Agentic Platform and Capabilities for Google SecOps. Your role is critical for turbocharging and enabling autonomous agentic SOC for AI-driven cybersecurity solutions. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google’s technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

$174000 - $253000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Write and test product or system development code.
  • Lead an end-to-end development and launch of next-generation Agentic features for Google SecOps.
  • Develop foundational AI platform to support and accelerate Security Agents development.
  • Collaborate with peer infrastructure, quality, and User Experience (UX) Tech Leads and Engineers, and partner teams.
  • Scale the product and defend the enterprises from emerging threats.
