About this role
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- 5 years of experience with network architectures, protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, etc.), and technologies, as well as concepts like scalability, fault tolerance, and consistency.
- 5 years of experience working in C++, Python, Go, or a similar language.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis, working with databases, and querying (e.g., SQL, MySQL, MapReduce).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- Experience in developing solutions to ambiguous problems with significant impact.
- Experience with Java or Go.
- Ability to resolve customer-related issues with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
