NVIDIA is looking for a highly motivated Datacenter Systems Architect to join our multifaceted and innovative System Engineering Team to craft the blueprints for the next generation of NVIDIA GPU based AI Super Computing Datacenters. The architect plays a key role in defining and driving tradeoffs in high-performance datacenter design focused on all aspects including power, cooling and layout. The system architect drives collaboration working system engineering and leadership to build designs for production clusters and as blueprints for others. In addition, the architect interacts closely with outstanding technical program managers, engineers, and the best leading technical specialists in their domain while becoming an integral member of a global collaborative team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Help create and deploy NVIDIA’s reference AI Super Computer datacenter designs

  • Define key engineering requirements and specifications to drive collaboration with system leads, customer requirements and engagements, marketing and application engineers

  • Provide requirements, engineering responses, feasibility analysis, present options and ensure the datacenter designs meet the optimal balance of performance, quality, scalability, re-use, reliability, cost and time-to-market

  • Document designs and plans to encourage collaboration with other design teams and as a reference for future deployments

  • Provide status updates and communicate issues internally providing recommendations as a key part of the team to help with tough trade-offs

What we need to see:

  • BS (Masters preferred) in Applied Science or Engineering (or equivalent experience)

  • 8+ years of overall experience

  • Technical knowledge of datacenter design and familiarity power and cooling technologies

  • In depth understanding of the relevant datacenter industry partners, OEM and ODM, vendors and competitors

  • Strong communication, verbal, and written skills while working closely with key architects and data center deployment teams to align on product requirements

  • Team oriented with a "can do" attitude, highly enthusiastic in solving multi-disciplinary challenges

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
