Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor, creating a memorable first impression
  • Guide guests through menu offerings by providing recommendations, answering questions, and sharing knowledge of food and beverage selections
  • Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to culinary and bar teams
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner while ensuring presentation and quality standards are met
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, personalized service to elevate the overall dining experience
  • Maintain awareness of guest satisfaction and respond promptly and professionally to requests or concerns
  • Clear and reset tables while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards throughout the dining areas
  • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently while following established cash handling and POS procedures
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and fellow team members to ensure seamless service execution and exceptional guest experiences
  • Support opening, closing, and side work responsibilities as assigned
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of restaurant, hotel, resort, or serving experience preferred
  • Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit or applicable certification required, where applicable by jurisdiction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong guest service mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while delivering exceptional hospitality
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Working knowledge of food and beverage service standards and dining etiquette preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift and perform physical aspects of service duties
  • Flexible availability including AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Must meet the minimum age requirements established by applicable laws and regulations
