Grant Thornton is seeking a Service Line Methodology and Learning Manager to join the team in Chicago, IL.

2/ Protecting the global Go Beyond brand through contributing to the ongoing development and maintenance of the firm’s methodologies 

Main responsibilities

Assist the methodology and learning team with the following:  

  • Effective operationalization of the firm’s methodologies in the engagement tool 
  • Participate in UAT and other testing, as necessary
  • Test operationalize of methodology
  • Develop additional tool learning resources; tool videos, QSC’s etc 
  • Assist in the development of the global sustainability methodology and relevant support materials 
  • Maintenance of the global methodology
  • Develop methodology learning resources; learning programs, QRG’s, and practice aids 

 

Person specification

 

  • Professional designation (CPA, CA or equivalent qualification) 
  • Fluent in English
Experience – Essential
  • Experienced manager or newly appointed senior manager 
  • Experience in the develop and / or execution of sustainability engagements  
  • Self- starter with the ability and confidence to execute their own projects and workload
  • Strong business writing and communication skills
  • Ability to be agile and respond in a proactive manner
  • Global mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player, including the ability to collaborate with other functional groups
  • Good organization and time management skills and an ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment across multiple time zones

 

Experience – Desirable
  • Previous experience of working within a global professional services environment and with international stakeholders
  • Previous experience working in a National office role
  • Previous experience in the development of learning 

 The base salary range for this position is between $102,000 and $134,400. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton’s discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity. At Grant Thornton, compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
