Position Summary: The Service Technician plays a crucial hands on role to be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to maintenance, repair, and installation of various roof types. The Service Technician is instrumental in providing excellence on roofing installation and maintenance; and working with key stakeholders.

The Blueprint for Success - Key Responsibilities:

• Setting project sites up including equipment and scaffolding

• Perform maintenance and repairs on various roof types and systems

• Acting as the main point of communication between the main field and the office

• Troubleshoot problems and implement effective repairs

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

• Providing leadership to on-site staff, sub-contractors, and other parties

• Investigating and resolving customer complaints

• Ensuring that safety policies are strictly adhered to

• Reviewing project progress to ensure that deadlines are met

• Manage and maintain accurate working documents 

• Conduct roof surveys and meet with clients to assess requirements, take measurements, photos, and collect data to be used in plan

• . Provide technical support and guidance to personnel as required

• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, communicate project updates, and manage expectations to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements

Tools for the Job: 

Required: 

• High school diploma or GED

• Roofing and/or construction knowledge 

• Proven experience in supervising field operations

• Proficiency in Google, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• The ability to work in different environmental conditions.

• Strong leadership and communications skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Sound knowledge of contract terms and pricing. 

• Valid Driver's License.

Preferred: 

• Proficient in the safe handling and utilization of ladders.

• Effective oral and written communications skills.
