Job Summary:
This position is responsible for creating and leading strategic talent initiatives. This role primarily focuses on the development, coordination, and continuous improvement of talent programs while also contributing to broader Talent Acquisition strategies. This individual partners with leaders to drive workforce planning and forecasting efforts, builds relationships with external partners, and helps design innovative approaches to attract and engage talent. While this role will assist with recruiting operations, the primary focus is on program ownership, pipeline development, and strategic growth of talent initiatives.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Leads the development of strategic talent initiatives and partners with leadership on workforce planning, recruiting, and retention initiatives
- Identifies recruiting trends and applicant flow to identify gaps and build solutions that enhance recruiting outcomes and expand candidate reach
- Leads coordination and continuous improvement of the organization’s internship program, including recruitment, onboarding, and overall experience development
- Builds and maintains relationships with schools, universities, and program partners to strengthen early talent pipelines and long-term partnerships
- Collaborates with internal leaders to create meaningful, engaging, and development-focused experiences for program participants
- Designs recruiting and engagement for our specialty programs to connect skilled artisans and trades talent to opportunities
- Maintains accurate records within recruiting systems and tracking documents, ensuring compliance with hiring processes
- Collaborates with team members to support overall recruiting goals and serves as a resource to internal teams in developing talent strategies
- Maintains confidentiality of all company records and sensitive information and completes all responsibilities in a timely and professional manner
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and a background check
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Missouri Class E Driver's License or resident state equivalent
- Ability to think strategically and proactively about workforce needs and talent pipelines
- Must possess strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate across teams
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications preferred.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Education and Experience:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, or Marketing preferred
- Prior experience with ATS platforms such as UKG, Workday, etc.
- Basic understanding of general employment practices and laws required
- Recruiting and interviewing experience preferred
- Experience in hospitality, tourism, or large-scale seasonal business preferred

Work Environment & Travel Expectations:
The Talen Acquisition Coordinator will primarily work in a professional office environment characterized by:
- Standard office conditions with minimal noise, consistent indoor temperatures, and typical office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers
- A desk-based setting with frequent computer use, writing, and digital communication
- Regular collaboration with team members in person and via virtual meetings
In addition to the office-based work, this position also requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability due to the nature of recruitment events. This position will:
- Travel regularly to attend or support recruitment events and other location-based assignments
- Be available for early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Be present during recruitment events in a variety of environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, in all weather conditions
