About the Job:

The Social Media Coordinator, PS Hub will develop engaging video content for our mobile app. This role blends on-camera talent, video production, and content moderation, helping shape the in-app experience for our customers.

A day in the life, what you’ll be doing:

• Monitoring and approving PsHub content
• Manage Pacsun’s presence on PsHub
• Ideate, script, and produce engaging short-form promotional videos for PsHub.
• Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and digital teams to highlight key products and promotions.
• Develop creative concepts aligned with brand voice and marketing campaigns.
• Execute content strategies that enhance the in-app discovery and shopping experience.
• Film on-camera content showcasing products, promotions, and app features.
• Assist with contracting creators for PsHub content
• Assist with social content ideation, creation, and editing
• Assist with social content capture and posting at local events

 

What it takes to Join:

• Entry - level 1-2 years of experience in content creation, social media, or digital marketing.
• Comfortable appearing on camera and creating video content.
• Strong sense of aesthetic
• Comfortable pitching ideas
• Video editing
• Copywriting
• Availability to work nights and weekends as needed
• Excellent creative instincts with a strong eye for trends and storytelling.
• Familiarity with Gen Z and Gen Alpha digital culture and content preferences.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple pieces of content simultaneously.

 Salary Range: $53,560 - $70,304

• Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
• Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions.
• Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building.
• Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel may be required.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

 

This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
