About this position: 

The Social Media Intern will report to the Social Media Manager and provide day‑to‑day support to the Social Media Specialist. This role will be responsible for executing assigned daily tasks that help increase engagement and strengthen brand presence across social platforms. The intern will assist with responding to social media messages and reviews, monitor social listening tools, generate performance reports, and support light content creation in collaboration with the design team. This position will also help draft and organize content libraries, monitor social trends, and publish entry‑level organic social posts in alignment with brand guidelines.

What You'll do:

  • Monitor and respond to social media messages, comments, and reviews including Google, BBB, and app reviews, in a timely, professional, and brand‑aligned manner.

  • Assist with day‑to‑day management of organic social media channels including monitoring social listening tools to track engagement, sentiment, and emerging trends.

  • Gather, compile, and maintain weekly and monthly social media performance reports.

  • Support light content creation in collaboration with the design team including graphics, captions, and templates.

  • Draft, organize, and maintain social content libraries and schedule assets.

  • Publish entry‑level organic social media posts according to brand guidelines and approvals.

  • Track platform updates, social trends, and competitor activity to inform content planning.

  • Support increased campaign volume by executing repeatable production and engagement tasks.

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and compliance standards across all social outputs.

What You'll bring:

  • College student at freshmen, sophomore, junior, senior, or master level status, or a recent college graduate within the last 3 months.

  • Major in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.

  • Experience creating social content and familiarity with major social platforms (including Meta's Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X) preferred.

  • 3.0 GPA or greater preferred.
