Position Summary:
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking a Social Media Intern to support the Talent & Culture team in strengthening employer brand awareness and showcasing the employee experience. In this role, you will assist with developing engaging digital content, supporting storytelling initiatives that highlight employees and workplace culture, and contributing to employer brand materials that reflect Shimadzu’s values and mission. This position focuses on helping translate employee experiences and organizational culture into compelling content that strengthens brand visibility.
JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Assist with development and publication of social media content aligned with employer branding initiatives
- Support a “Day in the Life” content series highlighting field and corporate roles
- Assist with updating and enhancing employee-focused video and culture storytelling materials
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather employee stories and workplace insights
- Organize and prepare digital content that highlights company culture and employee experiences
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Resources, Digital Media or a related discipline
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content creation
- Interest in employer branding, workplace culture storytelling, or corporate communications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and storytelling ability
