Social Media Marketing Intern

The Harbert College of Business is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Marketing Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to enhancing our online presence.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to increase engagement and grow the Harbert College of Business’s online presence.
• Create compelling and visually appealing content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Monitor and respond to social media interactions, fostering a positive and engaging online environment.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement innovative social media campaigns and initiatives.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the college’s social media presence remains current and effective.
• Assist in planning and covering live events and activities to create real-time content.
• Support other marketing and communication efforts as needed.
