About this role
Position Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, social-first Social Media Production Assistant to help grow our online presence. This role is focused on translating compelling courtroom moments into engaging digital content. You will support the social media team in executing strategies, building content calendars, copywriting, platform management, and audience engagement for a nationally syndicated court program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in creating original, engaging social content for multiple platforms and talent.
- Manage social calendar, assist with the strategy and help develop innovative ideas for all talent.
- Facilitate community management across all social media channels.
- Ideate and assist social media producers with on set social media activations and content capture.
- Assist with scheduling and posting content to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube using Sprout Social.
- Work directly with social media producers to create engaging copywriting that aligns with brand identity and audience.
- Help track performance metrics and provide input on content improvement.
- Work with social media producers with uploading and optimization of the network's YouTube channel.
Graphic Design:
- Collaborate with cross-functional production teams to ensure creative alignment and consistency on both small and large creative projects.
- Effectively adapt and resize creative assets for an evolving range of formats and deliverables (motion, static, digital, and social)
Basic Requirements:
- 1-2 years of social media experience (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube)
- Strong storytelling, copywriting and visual communication skills.
- Skilled in basic filming and editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere is a plus).
- Comfort with social scheduling tools (Sprout Social, YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite).
- Sharp eye for universal social trends, and consistent brand identity.
- Experience in Graphic Design (Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, etc).
- Enjoys social culture and is willing to jump into real-time content moments on set.
