As the Social Media Support Specialist, you are responsible for the creation of engaging video content, captions, strategy, editing and be a content creation support to social media team members.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Strategizing, developing, and editing content output on social media channels, aligned with overarching company goals (short-term and long-term). 

  • Develop creative and compelling content that aligns with the brand messaging and goals. 

  • Plan and write scripts for videos, ensuring a clear and engaging narrative that resonates with the target audience. 

  • Record high-quality videos using appropriate equipment and techniques. This may involve shooting on-location, at the center or dealers or in a studio. 

  • Edit content and videos to enhance visual appeal, coherence, and overall quality. This includes adding graphics, music, and special effects as needed. 

  • Implementing external content plans and editorial calendar to support engagement. 

  • Supporting content strategy on U-Haul Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn channels. 

  • Supporting existing programs and assisting in the development and implementation of new, innovative initiatives to drive conversions. 

  • Sourcing user-generated content (UGC) across all existing social media platforms for official U-Haul channels to repost. 

  • Tracking Reels, TikTok’s, YouTube, and Shorts metrics and success, produce AB tests, and suggestions for new video content based on data driven results.
