Software Developer Intern – Fall 2026

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week

Duration: August 2026 – December 2026

About the Role

Precision Strip is seeking a Software Developer Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience working with our internal software systems while collaborating closely with experienced developers and business partners. You will contribute to real projects that support daily operations, build technical skills, and strengthen your problem‑solving abilities in a professional team environment.

This internship is designed for students who enjoy learning, working collaboratively, and applying classroom knowledge to real‑world technology challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with analyzing, designing, developing, and enhancing software solutions
  • Provide maintenance and support for existing custom applications
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business needs
  • Apply analytical thinking and attention to detail to troubleshoot and solve technical issues
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders

Preferred Technical Skills

Experience with any of the following technologies is helpful but not required:

  • Databases (e.g., SQL)
  • Front-end development (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS)
  • Back-end development (e.g., C#, .NET, REST APIs)
  • Data analytics or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, dashboards, data visualization)
  • Version control tools (e.g., Git, GitHub)
