Software Developer Intern
We are looking for a Software Developer Intern to accelerate multiple projects that create an engaging user experience. The Software Developer Intern will be comfortable working on an agile team assisting internal and external partners enhance how people view and purchase furniture.?This role will work predominately in Node, but you will be contributing in React repositories and other Front End projects
Responsibilities:
- Complete small to medium projects to improve internal work flow and efficiencies
- Code solutions in a backend TypeScript environment using modern ES6+ features
- Develop Front End features and components for internal tooling
- Use GitHub to create peer reviews before merging feature branches into Development
- Support Sale and Coupon tentpole events (President’s Day, Fourth of July, Black Friday, etc.)
- Maintain relationships with internal teams to create partnerships and collaborate on use cases, test results, and future requirements
Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in a software development role
- Demonstrated expertise in Node
- Agile software development experience, thorough understanding of engineering best practices from testing to peer code reviews and resilient architecture
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, such as CS, CIS or Engineering (preferred)
